How to Use This Guide

This SceneForge Studio documentation site should act as both a reference and a tutorial. When learning about navigating the software's interface, check out the "SceneForge Editor" section of the sidebar. Once you understand how to navigate SceneForge Studio, take a look at the "SceneForge Concepts" section of the sidebar.

As you read through both sections, there will be links to appropriate pages about topics mentioned.

How Does SceneForge Work?

SceneForge Studio leverages the power of real-time graphics technology to get realistic, cinematic lighting instantly -- no more waiting for frame-by-frame renders!

Additionally, SceneForge Studio uses the Augmented Reality functionality of any mobile device to accurately track your physical camera through virtual space.

Paired with a green screen/chromakey surface, your actors can be instantly composited into your virtual scenes.

It is important to note that SceneForge Studio is not a fully-featured world creator, level editor, or game engine.  It is a tool for creating virtual film sets for pre-viz and real-time compositing. Ideally, your scenes should remain the size of a real-life film soundstage.

System Requirements

As with any high-powered, professional graphics program, SceneForge Studio won't run on any old computer, though we've done our best to optimize it for as many systems as possible.

We Recommend these specs as the bare minimum:

- A PC running Windows 10

- 8GB of RAM

- A GTX 1050 Graphics Card or better

- An Intel Core i5 or equivalent processor
