Displaying Content on a Vū One (LED Wall) using Virtual Studio

The Splash Screen

Once you have completed registration and setup, the Splash Screen will appear. This screen is the default view for Virtual Studio when no media is playing.  You can view the date, time, version number, and helpful notifications as you use your Vū system.

• In the bottom left corner of the screen is the Connection QR Code.  You can use this to connect your mobile device to the Vū OS to display media content. 

Connecting to your Mobile Device

• To connect your mobile device, scan the QR code in the bottom left corner of the Splash Screen. This will open the Vū One Web App / Virtual Studio in your device browser, automatically connected to your Vū One system.
• You may need to log in or sign up with a Vū One Account at this stage.

• Once connected, you will see a “connected” notification on the bottom right of the screen and have access to the variety of functions available on the Virtual Studio dashboard.
• To display images on the LED wall, select "Asset Library" to view existing media assets or select the Marketplace to browse for additional content.

Selecting Media

• Within the Library in Virtual Studio, you can create personal folders to organize your media. These media assets can be selected from the included Vū library or from optional subscription libraries. 
• From there you can select a media file from the library and send it to the LED wall, instantly displaying it.
• You can also upload more media by clicking the “Upload Image” tile, or the icon at the bottom of the screen.
• You can manually exit playback by pressing “Esc” on a connected keyboard.

Configuring your Vū One

• You can open the Operator Menu by pressing F12 on your keyboard.  This hidden menu gives you control over certain debug functions as well as optionally setting up your LED Wall’s Processor connection.
• In the example below, we’re using a Brompton Processor, but it can also be switched to NovaStar (NovaStar processor control features coming soon).  Simply enter the IP Address with Port, and you are good to go.

You can also manually open an NDI source, change the media timeout (before automatically returning to the splash screen), and change the full screen mode, among other controls.
